Hey All!
I realize that I have done a great disservice to any of you who follow me, so I will begin to start to change that. Wait and see... I am going to add some things.. take some away... add more pictures and maybe a stitch-a-long, quilt-a-long and perhaps at some point maybe a free design or two from me. Check back from time to time, or better yet, just follow me!

Congratulations Meghan!
I have not been as good as I should have been for a while now letting people know how important they are to me. In the midst of a migraine, I missed a very important party intended to celebrate a very important rite of passage for Meghan Hunter.
Meghan I am very proud of you! Finishing school is one of the most important steps you will take on the journey called "Life."
You have grown into quite the young lady!! It seems like yesterday....
...that you and Caitie played at 4C's barn when I started boarding our horses there,
...that it was only yesterday that I locked you and Caitie in my horse trailer at Horse Camp and took the two of you for a wild ride,
...that you fell off Sugar in Bareback class, at a compete standstill,
...that you held my hand and offered hugs without embarrassment,
...that you were being your Mom's greatest supporter in her hour of greatest need, and have continued to be there for her.
I don't think that I have many summers since I have lived in Vancouver that do not have you in them.
I guess the main thing I would like to say to you, is I Love You and am Very Proud of You! There are many great adventures in your future and I am certain that you will handle them with grace.
Congratulations Meghan!!
One Quilt, Two Quilt , , ,
As the temperatures go up the more I stay in! I love the sunshine, but the heat I can do without. So when it gets hot, I stay busy. Two more quilts this week!
The first one is a small Variable Star done in blues and creams. Without any additional borders or its backing on it is 25" x25". Another baby blanket? Wall hanging?
The second is called "Stars in My Garden" and was designed by Yolanda Moll. It was a lot of fun to do and I learned another way to make flying geese! It is a beautiful wall hanging and the colors are Christmas-y. It is currently 28" x 28"

A New Project
This is how some of my projects begin.
An idea forms.
I attempt to put my ideas and its images to paper. Then to tracing paper, freezer paper, or fusible web on a light table.
This quilt will be a gift for someone special to me. It's design belongs to Elizabeth Root. I will add an original design to the back.
The top will be pieced by hand.
Do you know anyone who loves CATS?

Introducing TRAIL TEK NECK COOLERS!
Like many others, I love the sun - but hate getting hot!
I would like to introduce my version of neck coolers - Trail Tek! They come in a regular and deluxe designs.
When TRAIL TEK Neck Coolers are soaked in cold water, or ice-slush water, they expand and retain temperatures below outdoor temperatures. The cool moisture placed around your neck helps you feel cool in warm temperatures.
TRAIL TEK neck coolers can also be soaked in warm water for moist heat applications.
Any parties interested in purchasin TRAIL TEK Neck Coolers may contact me for prices and quantities. They will also be available soon on Etsy!
Log Cabin Quilt in Miniature
Some time ago I thought I would quilt a log cabin quilt. Out of all the quilts out there, for some reason log cabin quilts scared me the most!
To confront that fear, I not only finished the top of a log cabin quilt, but it is done in smaller size.
The pastels lend it self to becoming a wonderful crib quilt. The top currently is only 26" by 26." Some additional sashing and border and a soft flannel on the back, would lend itself to a crib, lap or twin quilt. This quilt is available for you to purchase!
My fear has been over come!
